Firstly, big congratulations! We've been doing this for a very long time and it never gets less exciting to see a new bride!

Heres some info you might need to know about the whole process.

(Its not every day you do this!)

We like to see brides 8-12 weeks before the wedding date for a first fitting depending on the extent of work needed. Most brides will come in 6wks before. It does get very busy especially if you need an evening or Saturday Apt so book in early.
Apts are 45 mins. This is enough time for us to fit you.
You will be given a quote at the first fitting. A 50% dep is taken, balance due when alterations are completed
You will have 2 -3 fittings.
There is free parking outside the studio
At the moment (COVID 19) we can only have the person we're fitting in the studio.

Always bring the shoes, bra, shapewear, underwear you'll be wearing on the day to your fittings.
Is it too long? Hems are a personal preference. We have brides wanting their hem off the floor by an inch or more and those that want them draping an inch or more on to the floor. We advise it touching the floor so when you stand you cannot see your shoes.
Stand in front of a full length mirror. Stand straight, don't look down, this drops the hem, walk forward looking ahead with slight kick as you do this.
If you can do that without tripping you're good to go! if the dress is too long, book on in.

When the bridesmaids dresses arrive here's a few tips...

Before booking apts make sure the girls try on with the shoes, bra, shapewear, underwear they'll be wearing on the day.
If it's a long dress the hem should just touch the floor.
